NCNCA Workforce Development & Training Coordinator Ryan Shaver says, “The 68th annual Masonry Apprenticeship Contest is Monday, October 17th at the State Fairgrounds in Raleigh. Last year's contest had 39 working apprentices from eleven masonry contractor companies compete and I look forward to having that number again this year!! Registration for this contest is now open. The deadline for registration is Friday, September 16th! ApprenticeshipNC handles the registration for the contest and I have a link below that will take you where you need to be to get your apprentices entered. Please get your apprentices registered before the cut-off date!! If you would like to contribute to this contest, we are seeking donations to help buy the tool prizes and monetary prizes that each apprentice will receive.
