The Late Robert L. “Bob” Merrill was formally inducted into the Mason Contractors Association of America (MCAA) Masonry Hall of Fame in January at the MCAA Convention Closing Banquet in Las Vegas. Mr. Merrill founded Merrill Masonry in Brevard in 1967 and was among the founding fathers of NCMCA. He served as NCMCA’s fourth president in 1977. In addition to his commitment to the masonry profession, he was noted for extraordinary service to his community and his extensive charitable activities. His son-in-law, Steve Stout, introduced Mr. Merrill to the banquet attendees. Six honorees were inducted for 2019: South Carolina masonry instructor Alonza Lewis; masonry contractor Angelo Tedesco, Sr., material supplier Clem Hellman (deceased,) masonry contractor Kenny Foeste (deceased,) and masonry contractor Mike Sutter in addition to Merrill.  Mr. Merrill joins two other NCMCA members in the MCAA Hall of Fame: the Late Glenn W. Sipe and the Late Samuel A. McGee.  (photo courtesy of the Merrill family)  CLICK HERE FOR ADDITIONAL PICTURES
